The power of Gratitude

This short video looks at how adopting an attitude of gratitude can enable us to become more resilient and find greater happiness in our lives.

From my personal experience gratitude is a superpower, helping us focus on the many good things going on for us. Consciously experiencing gratitude increases dopamine (the happiness hormone) in our brains and reduces cortisol enabling us to make clearer more focused decisions

A daily practice of gratitude - journaling things we are grateful for, visualising the opportunity to be grateful - taking a moment to capture the feeling of gratitude allows us to drop our negativity, increase our dopamine levels and feel more optimistic about the day ahead.  When we are truly grateful it is impossible to view the same thing negatively.  The truth is that gratitude creates more opportunities to be grateful
